When your city isn't listed

Several LA-area cities have their own rent stabilization ordinances we don't currently have calculators for, including Santa Monica (Rent Control Board), Culver City, Pasadena (Tenant Protection Ordinance), Inglewood, and Bell Gardens. If your rental is in one of these jurisdictions, the AB 1482 statewide cap may still apply as a backstop — but the local ordinance usually controls.
